Jeanette's Story
My schools include Herman Hirsch Elementary, Jeff Davis Jr High, & Sam Houston High School.
My interests include riding horses, reading, visiting family members, going to small town festivals and rodeos. Due to previous medical issues, I can't take the TX heat and humidity like I could when I was younger. Music I like includes mostly the BEATLES, also Keith Urban, George Strait, Brad Paisley, Garth Brooks, Trisha Yearwood, and Martina McBride, Books I like include books about the Beatles and their former wives from the early days of their careers. Movies I like include Bad Moms, Liar Liar, Son Of God, She's The Man, 21 Jump Street & the sequels, and most comedies. Ever since I watched The Exorcist when I was about 25, I don't like to watch scary movies! (I'll watch them, but somebody's arm might get sore from my hanging onto it tightly!) verybody Loves Raymond", "Family Feud" etc. I also watch crazy shows like Springer, Maury, and Steve Wilkos since the pandemic began. I HATE "The View", "Ellen", Jimmy Fallon", "Jimmy Kimmel", and "Stephen Colbert" with a passion! They are TOO Democratic for me. Their never-ending insults to President Trump are what turned me against all of them. Put-downs and politics ARE NOT entertainment. Some of my favorite quotes are: ""Everything happens for a reason." "What goes around comes around." "You are exactly where God wants you to be."" and "God wouldn't bring you to it if He won't bring you through it." I don't physically go to church but I have a very close relationship with Him. I am shy at first but I warm up quickly once I feel comfortable around people I don't know. That could stem from prior domestic abuse I experienced in the 70s and 80s. I haven't had a serious relationship since 1986!
