Jeanie's Story
Life
I graduated from UT in 1975 and got married that same year. I also completed my Masters in Education in 1987. We celebrated our 46th anniversary in December 2021.
We have 2 daughters. Our older daughter, Carrie, graduated from Troy University with a BS in nursing. We are third time grandparents to Jackson, John Isaac ,and Jonah David Hawkins, who was born December 6, 2010. They are the joy of our lives, althouth it is rough not getting to see them but once a month, as they live in southern Alabama, near the Florida line. Our you...Expand for more
nger daughter, Katie, graduated from Samford, Cumberland School of Law, in Birmingham, AL. She is married and has one child, Noah, who is expecting a baby brother in October. They live in Pelham, AL. I don’t know what it is with our children and Alabama!!
I retired from teaching in 2005 with 30 years. I am currently enjoying traveling with my husband, working at the church more, and redecorating our house with all my extra time.
We currently live in Rogersville, Tennesee. Larry is the pastor of Calvary Baptist Church in Morristown.
