Whoop! What can you say about being a Texas Aggie. My adventure as a microbiology major changed my Jr. year when I realized I couldn't envision life in a lab - especially as much as I loved chemistry (ha). Anyway, long story short I picked up my nursing pre-requisites (what everyone thought I would always be) and ended up with a degree in community health education. I worked for awhile in the field post-graduation, went on a mission for my church, returned and resumed another B.S. degree at the ...Expand for more
UT of Health Science Center San Antonio and graduated magna cum laude in nursing. I also met Roland, my husband to be, during that time. As crazy as life seemed back then, it is much crazier now. I miss the fall on campus, walking through the MSC, the games, etc. I learned from the good and the bad. I know more now (that's good after 20 years) and would be a much better student if I returned, but I don't know if I would have had as much fun. But the life lessons were as valuable as the tuition.
