Jeanne's Story

After living in Phoenix for a number of years I relocated to Payson, Arizona in 2009. I have been blessed with two sons who are grown now. My eldest son lives and works in Phoenix while my youngest lives in Payson. I have one grandson and one granddaughter who have stolen my heart. They are ages 4 and 5 and both live with me. Their minds are like blank slates and I thoroughly enjoy writing chapters of learning, fun, and memories on those slates. Together we craft, garden, bake, and go on many adventures. Life is an adventure with these two. A sad chapter in my life was in September of 2013 when my mother left this world. A void has been left in my life that can never be filled. I am thankful for all the loving memories I have of our family. , For those of you who remember my father, Roger, he is doing well. Dad and Mom were married 64 years. few years have been for him. Once again, he has amazed me through his determination, positive attitude, and willingness to not give in or up. He is 89 years young and although he needs a helping hand now and then he is going strong. I retired from computer and website work and turned my attention to volunteer work. Recently I started volunteering with my church where I am working to develop Life Group programs, assisting with communication with the women's group and creating posters for events. Life has certainly been an adventure! Personally, I think this stage in life is great, even with the gray hair and "sometimes" memory! "Go confidently in the direction of your dreams!
