Jeanne's Story
I graduated from the University of Minnesota in 1970 and after went on a trip to Europe for six weeks where I met my future husband, Ray Vince, (in Switzerland). We were engaged in the Fall of 1971 and married in May of 1972 in Southsea, England where he was a Curate in the Church of England (Anglican). We lived there for four wonderful years before moving to London where he was chaplain at one of the city colleges. We lived in London for 8 fab years during which time I went to graduate school and earned a degree in Library Science. We moved back to the states in 1983, lived in Louisiana for 8 years and moved to Florida 23 years ago. I've worked in England and the States as an academic and public library Librarian. I am at The University of Tampa, 22 years now! Love ...Expand for more
the students. We have a 28 year old son who works in computer science. I am lucky to have returned back to England last year with a friend, saw old friends and family, and returned on the Queen Mary 2. It has been a great life. My dear and close friend, Linda (Murphy) Moulder has 4 children and 4 or 5 grandchildren now. We compare notes often. I love Minneapolis and have been back often over the years. I have not seen the new South High, but I have heard great things and I get their newsletter. Time waits for no one. I look back and realize that we had a great group of people in our class of '65, then and now. I earned a library degree in London and have worked in Public and Academic Libraries for over 40 years. I'm currently at The University of Tampa in Florida.
