Jeanne's Story
Life
After graduating from Goodrich I went to Central MI to pursue a teaching degree. It was there I met my future husband. I taught in Utica for over thirty years, started out in History and English, along the way I added public speaking, drama, art and one year I taught woodshop.
I live in Washington MI and now work for Wayne State Univesity part time . I have a small pet sitting business. I love to travel but not as much as I would like.It is harder as a single woman. I divorced in 1986 after 18 years of marriage.
I never had children but I do have a couple of spoiled cats.
My interests include gardening, camping, skiing,kyaking,fish...Expand for more
ing, cooking, working out and of course art work.
My parents are both still alive and living in Northern MI, so I travel alot to the Traverse City area.
I stay in contact with several of the people from the class of 1965.I enjoy being a Marshal at the Buick Open which is wierd because I do not golf, basically because I am terrible at it and I do not need another hobby.
My homeis a very old farm house that has been well maintained the last one hundred and fifty years but as any house it needs attention, which I take pride in doing.
I love to read in my spare time and am an avid Scrabble player when I can find a partner.Anyone up for a game?
