Jeanne Ellen Sander's Story
I graduated from Lumpkin County High School June 1966. I married Danny Glover in 1967. He was in the air force and we moved away. When he got out in 1970, we had a son, Brian. We lived in East Point, Georgia for a year and then moved to Jacksonville, Florida. He was from Jacksonville. Three years later, I had my daughter, Cheryl. When she was five years old, I went to nursing school. I graduated as a registered nurse. My mom and my older sister were also nurses. The medical field was in my family. I was a hospital nurse, health dept. nurse and ended up in Gainesville, Florida working at Shands Hospital for over 23 years. I also had my third child, Karen. 1 years. In that time, he lost his mother and I lost mine. Danny died in 1998 from a heart attach. We had a good life together.
I am now retired, living in Summerfield, Florida. I am married again to Russell Keck. We have been married for 14 years. He is 15 years older than I am. He passed away in 2017 from pneumonia.. I do come home to visit my family in Dahlonega from time to time. My sister Pat and Louise, and brother John still live in Dahlonega. My brother David lives in Colorado, and my brother, Tommy lives in Tennessee. I love this website seeing my old schoolmates. If you remember me, send me an email. I would love to hear your story.
