Jeanne's Story
Life
In September of 2003, I married my "old flame" from our class, Mike Wilson. (We dated in 1969 & 1970) Mike has 2 sons and a daughter and we have four Grandchildren. We built a home on 20 acres of land in Lexington, VA where we moved in early May '08 and began our "retirement" as alpaca farmers. We currently (2017) have our property on the market and plan to move to a home in the same general area once we sell our farm. We still have some alpacas and plan to board them once we downsize. We love this area of Virginia which is in the Southern Shenandoah Valley.
My Pets
We have a Rhodesian Ridgeback named Murphy, 100 lbs of vibrant character!

ter 10 years in the Washington, DC area followed by 21 years in the Atlanta area, I moved back to NJ in May of 2002 (after Mike found me again on ClassMates.com) and worked for New Jersey Business Finance Corp in Fort Lee, NJ until we moved to Virginia. Now I take care of our 2 llamas and 3 remaining alpacas and enjoy taking some of them to shows. I am also taking part in organizing a branch of NAACP in Lexington which should be up and running in the next few months. I have taken the training and submitted my application for membership. I joined a Racial Justice Group which sprung from 50 Ways Rockbridge and the NAACP Chapter has been our first project.
