Jeanne's Story
Life
Graduated MCHS in 1988 and UC Santa Barbara in 1992. Got my PhD at the Scripps Research Institiute in La Jolla in 1998. Moved back to LA, married Jason Berkowitz, and did a 2-year post-doc at UCLA Jonsson Comprehensive Cancer Center. irth to our first son, Logan, and went freelance. Son #2, Zachary, born in 2005 and I took a sabbatical from my work. In February 2007 we decided to leave LA for good and moved to Boulder, Colorado, which we LOVE. Son #3 Max was born in 2007 - and no we will not be trying for a girl! :-) I am back at my consulting job, advising and writing for medical device and biotech companies.
