Jeanne's Story
Who am I? Who the hell knows.... I'm still trying to figure that out.
Am I what I've done for a living, what I did for fun?
Am I a success? ....
The highlights:
*I was a carpenter when women did do that kind of work.
*I'm a midwife, both a direct entry midwife and a nurse midwife. I've been through 4 different training and educational pathways. Each one taught me a different perspective, but I think I learned the most just listening to ....the universe, my clients, the unborn babies...
*Made lots of money and been homeless too, more than once. It's not what ya got that makes you happy, it's who you share your life with.
*I'm a mom. I raised two beautiful children I had the fortunate blessing of getting to adopt. Proud of both o...Expand for more
f them.
*I've loved, been loved, been broken, and decided my "picker" is broken and I don't know how to find a keeper.
*Lived my life full throttle with no regrets.
*I've seen the pyramids of Egypt and swam in the Red Sea. White water rafted the Rio Grande, Snow skiied the Rockies and the Cascades. Jumped off bridges and boulders only to find the river not deep enough. Seen some of the most beautiful country, our country has to offer.
*Crazy enough at middle age to go back to graduate school again and subjugate myself and feel like I'm really stupid only to find out it is part of the process.
*Looking forward to taking a long road trip this summer with my daughter on our "Play Across America Tour".
Wishes....to keep living and lovin.
