Jeanne's Story
Life
I went on to college at Southern Illinois University and received my Bachelor Degree in graphic design. I moved to Chicago for a short time, then moved to Atlanta, GA, where two of my brothers also were living. I really enjoyed living in Atlanta, and met my future husband there. We married in '96 and have since had two boys. In '98 we moved to the Baltimore, Maryland area to be close to my husbands family. In 2005 we moved to the York, Pennsylvania in part to be able to have goats and chickens; I've always had this idealized vision of farm life. I love...Expand for more
it here in rural Pennsylvania - and can't imagine living in a town or city ever again. I love visiting the city, but wouldn't want to live there! I am a part-time Librarian and do a lot of volunteering at my kids' school. I try to spend as much time as I can satisfying my artistic side and getting dirty in my garden. I hope to one day be able to make bread and cheeses with ease and to spend more time reading, painting, taking pictures, in general expressing myself through art, and to do a better job of simply appreciating what I have and the world around me.
