Jeannette's Story

Jeannette is from Los Gatos, California. Jeannette's schools include Los Gatos High School. Jeannette later attended San Diego State University. After marrying Lee in 1989, they proceeded to have 5 children and founded a church in Italy. She had an amazing life and was an amazingly loving woman. Not only did she never ever have an enemy but everyone who met Jeannette loved her. She was one of the most loving, fun-spirited women who ever lived on the planet. And Jeannette loved her husband, Lee, of 30 years and absolutely adored her children, many who are now grown-up and married. Jeannette unfortunately passed away the 29th of July, 2019 from a cancerous tumor in her colon that we didn't know was growing for nearly 10 years. Thankfully, Jeannette's health was good until just the last few months and then from April 2019, it went very quickly, after the chemo didn't work. Music Jeannette liked included Sovereign Grace Music, People & Songs, Caleb Murphy, Giuseppe De Chirico, Mark Driscoll. TV shows Jeannette likes include The Amazing Race. But one of the greatest things Jeannette loved was just visiting with family and friends, having a coffee or a glass of wine and just enjoying others. She was such a pleasure to be around and always sought to bring joy into others' lives. After she passed (and had 3 separate memorial services, two in Italy and one in America, with more than 100 people at each), people who had only me...Expand for more
t her once or twice and those who truly knew her all said they felt like Jeannette was their best friend... as she always showed 100% interest, attention and love, looking into their eyes and truly wanting to care for them well. One of Jeannette's favorite quotes was from her son, Elijah:""See this pencil? It didn't just make itself!" when Elijah was trying to convince our Italian atheist neighbor that God exists and created us and the universe." There is only two things that Jeannette would want to say to you, especially if you don't already know... One, don't miss out on Jesus. He loves you. And all that Jeannette was (her love and care for others0 came from her knowledge and experience of the love of Jesus in her life. Two, don't miss the precious days with your family... your spouse and your kids. You don't know the day or hour that your life will end. Jeannette didn't know. But she lived it for God and for others up until the very end. The doctors and nurses commented that they had never ever met a woman like Jeannette before... always concerned for them, always asking how they were, caring for the 92 year-old next to her in the middle of the night when she was dying from cancer herself. Jeannette didn't want others fussing over her not because of her pride... but because she wanted to "fuss' over others. She was devoted to helping others to find the love that she had discovered. God bless you. from her hubby, Lee
