Jeannie's Story
I always wanted to be a Nurse when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a great idea. As it turns out, they were right.
After High School I went to Beauty College. I got married in December quit college and moved to Idaho in April of 1968.
In November of 1968 I was pregnant and we moved to Connecticutt where my husband attended Nuclear Power Submarine school.
My first baby was born in February of 1969 and five days after Jimmy was born we were on the road again traveling cross country back to California and then flying to Hawaii where we lived for 3+ years.
While in Hawaii I had my second child Jack on February 17 1971. The boys are two years and five days apart.

In November 1971 my husband was discharged from the Navy and after a brief visit with family he...Expand for more
re in California we drove across the states to Michigan.
We lived on a farm in the lower Penninsula for about 6 years. We then had a very big surprise. I became pregnant for my third child. Very much unplanned. But I was blessed with my girl, Julie.
We then moved to the Upper Penninsula and we both attended Michigan Tech.
In January 1979 the marriage fell apart and I moved with my three children back to California.
I then went through nursing school and started working at Napa State Hospital. I worked there for 10+ years until I was injured by a patient. I then went back to school and became an RDA. I have worked in the Dental Field (Insurance) for the past 15 years.
My children are all married with children of their own. I have eight grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
Life is good!!!
I love to make crafts, hike, camp, swim, and just sit back and watch a movie.
