Jeannie's Story

Well just a few highlights,,,,After I graduated I went straight to work at Sheridans Nursing home. It didn't take long to realize that was not the place for me. I started dateing Roger Dunigan and went to work where he was at Gaurdpack. We became engaged and got married and had our first child, a son. What a mess he is. He is married now to a great woman. No children for them yet. 2 and a half years after we had our son we had a little girl. When I say little I mean LITTLE! She was born at 6 months and weighed in at a whopping 1 pound 6 oz. She was a strong baby. She spent 3 months in the hospital and when she reached 4lbs we brought her home. She is also married now only she has our first grandchild. What a grandbaby she is. Being the only one you can imagine. She has my feet. hahahaha Thats what my daughter says anyway. We moved from Sheridan to Jonesboro in 2002. We love it here. Its closer to get to my Cardinal games...haha Love those Cardinals. After we moved here I went to work at a radio station as a DJ. I worked for KFIN 107.9 That was a whole new experience. I loved that job. I got to meet so many different people. A Lot of Different singers from concerts. You all may have heard of Ugly Ed Johnson that works at AL...Expand for more
ICE in Little Rock. He was my boss here untill the station went computerized. Needless to say that meant a change in jobs for me also. I went from doing that to managing a Subway. That was an ok job. Very demanding, but I liked it also. My heath started going downhill a little and I couldn't keep up the pace. I have worked on and off for a friend of mine who owns a pizza place, but at this point I am staying home waiting for the days my husband comes home and says "Lets load up and go fishing" Love that fishing. We go every chance we get. I am also very invovled in church. My husband and I are both in the church choir. This takes up a lot of our time but we both feel its where God wants us at this point. We are leaving the 14th of Feb on a mission trip to mexico. We go every year with our bunch from church. We have built churches, Houses for the Pastors and even a collage. This is wonderful work to get involved in. Just makes your heart feel full. Well, Thats about it. I guess my biggest acomplishment is staying married for 28 years. From what I see around me that seems to be something pretty rare. We just love each other to death. Guess so after 28 years. I have him trained,,,haha NOT! God Bless You All, Jeannie Dunigan
