Jeannine's Story
After GGHS I went to work as a bookeeper for Farmers' and Merchants bank. Following that, I continued to move up in the accounting field. From 1990 until 2005 I was working as an auditor for the State of Ohio. I absolutely loved my job auditing Fortune 500 companies in all of the western states. I loved all of the travel. When I developed physical problems in 2005, I had to go on permanent disability (once I turned 66 they transferred my disability over to retirement). After 51 years in The OC, I decided to move to Atlanta to be near my son Derek. A friend and I drove across the country (from CA to GA) in my Camaro Convertible. What a wonderful trip! We saw National parks and Mount Rushmor...Expand for more
e monument. We went to Graceland and swam in their heart shaped swimming pool. We were allowed to go aboard Elvis' private aircraft. We went to Sturgis, SD during the week when all of the Harley's converge there. That was an unplanned experience! Most of the time, we had the top down in the car and feeling the wind blowind through our hair. The picture posted here is of my number one love and me. Her name is Chocka and she is a Peekapoo that I rescued at the Atlanta Humane Society. Atlanta has a lot for Sr's to do, classes, trips, etc. I miss the Pacific Ocean, but have visited The Gulf and the Atlantic since I've been here. I hope all you Argo's are doing fine and well. Drop me a line.
