Jeannine's Story
Life
OK, here's my bio in brief: After high school, I attended a little Bible college in Dallas, Texas called Christ for the Nations. After graduating, I took off to India to do mission work in an orphanage where I was bit by a snake and returned to Alaska before the 19 year old Indian doctor could cut off my foot (lovely, I know). But, returning home early was one of the best things in my life, because I met my soon-to-be husband, Derrick Jabaay, shortly after coming back. A couple of years later, we adopted our first child (after a horribly difficult adoption process) just in time to find out I was nearly 3 months pregnant with our 2nd child. 2 years later (January ...Expand for more
of '05), we had our 3rd, and now I feel like my family is complete (of course, I just got over being 9 and a half months pregnant, so ask me again in a year or so). I've tried a number of career ventures, but now am perfectly content staying at home most days with my family and helping my hubby with his construction company a couple of days out of each week. I have a beautiful home across from Service High that I'm extremely proud of because of all the crazy amounts of work that we poured into fixing up what began as the nastiest home known to man. So, all in all, the last ten years of my life have been rewarding, challenging, and beautiful - I wouldn't change a thing!
