Jeen's Story
I have happy memories of being a "Gracie Girl" and sharing a room with five other girls! I remember Lynn, JoAnn, Kathy, Jeannie, Joanie. Having a rabbit in the bathtub, a cat. Lynn and "FooFoo" hitchhiking to NYC and meeting Dustin Hoffman! Everyone on front porch to greet them returning in his limo that night! I still have my GD pink and grey dress somewhere..remember the pink gym top and navy tights? Mr. Borges who taught airline class and checked we were wearing our girdles? Uniform checks by school head, sharing hats?

an for Trailways, Olivetti and Hertz. Moved to Dublin, Ireland then London UK. Married Londoner, had twin boys, lost them. Husband had job offer in Manhattan, moved back and lived in NJ where I had one boy who now is 29. Currently temporarily living in Florida, caring for elderly mum who lives nearbye. HATE Florida, plan to leave when my care no longer needed. Would love to see a class reunion be planned, how wonderful to see everyone again! Lovely to hear from anyone who remembers me. It was a great school, I feel very blessed to be a former Gracie Girl!
