Hi everyone! A lot has happened in the 29 years since the Class of 79 ruled the town! The town itself has been swallowed up by Atlanta, and it barely feels like home when I get up there. After graduation, I hung out/bummed around/avoided arrest and conviction for a couple of years. I worked at a few places for pocket money and gas. In 1982, I figured it was time to grow up and start working on being a person my parents could be proud of. I was dating the daughter of an Air Traffic Controller, and her Dad sort of encouraged me to head in that direction as a career. Long story short, I did just that, and have been vectoring airplanes since early 1984. In fact, I will have 25 years at it early next year, and I hope to retire! Not to go back to hanging out/bumming around/avioding arrest, but maybe start something new. We will see. On the personal scene, I was married in 1984, had 2 beautiful kids, Michael (now 23) and Amanda (now 22), worked in Wilmington, NC, and Columbus, GA. Divorced in 1988.
