Jeff's Story
I enjoy learning about many subjects. First, I majored in Spanish and French at the University of Miami, Florida and then at the University of California at Santa Barbara. Later I achieved a Master's in Spanish at Santa Barbara. After that I did some more graduate school studies in Spanish at the University of California, Berkeley.
After sometimes teaching and sometimes tutoring Spanish and English as a Second Language, and teaching some GED (high school equivalency) courses, I decided to go back to school and obtained teaching certificates in Teaching English as a Second Language from the University of California, Berkeley Extension and in Business from a community college in Berkeley. Also, I have taken other education classes at various schools in California.

ometimes brief hiking (not usually more than about half an hour up a hill or mountain.) Also, I like to visit friendly neighborhood cats and dogs.
My interests are listed in my profile. I have posted a picture of a beach, because I lived near a beach when I went to Santa Barbara, and I still like fairly warm weather. Please click on "Update" a few times to see my varied interests, because I have a fairly wide range of interests in music, TV shows, and movies.
Reflecting on my high school years, I think that we were very fortunate to have gone to Yorktown, because I think that everyone was smart in at least one subject, and the teachers and textbooks did a great job of preparing us for college. Also, I think that most or all of the teachers were friendly, honest, dependable, peaceful, and encouraging to us to continue our education.
