Carla's Story

Life Hello Friends! I love to keep in touch with many of you! I have been living with my husband Jeff in Port Orange, FL for about 11 years. We own our own business, and I am a 1st grade teacher. We have two beautiful girls. Madelynn is 7 and in 2nd grade. Emily just turned 6 and is in kindergarten. We love to travel in our camper during the summer, and are avid NASCAR fans. I love to scrapbook, and I am still dancing( tap and jazz). My girls also take dance and love being on stage. After graduating from SHS I went to college in NJ. I recieved my degree in Psychology/ Elementry Education in 1990. I worked in Newington for almost 4 years and had started my Masters degree. I got married in 1993, an...Expand for more
d moved to FL with my husband 6 months later. I finished my Masters in 1997 in Marriage and Family Counseling from Stetson University. I worked in Mental Health for children for 5 1/2 years before making the switch back to teaching. I still keep in touch with Edith almost on a weekly basis, Jenniefer Wolfson, Carin Derosa, Laura Webber, Chris Ober, Debbie Driscoll and many others. I miss Simsbury a great deal, but go back often since we still have our cottage in Massachuettes. My husband is from Granby so we still have many ties in the area. I would love to hear from anyone, especially if you are in the Daytona/ Orlando area. Hopefully I will see many of you at our 20 year reunion in 2006. Love, Carla
