ection of where i wanted to be. I mastered the skills and ended up teaching professional level graphics applications to many top ad agencies, photographers and designers in Chicago...all the while doing freelance design work! I worked at a couple design firms and small agencies doing digital illustration and art direction for a while. I came to work at one of the huge ad agencies in the mid 90's where... now dig this... i've been ever since. I do digital design and art direction for print/tv ad campaigns. My workplace also extends beyond my office. I donate weeks a year as well as a huge amount of professional time working with a great non-profit called Big City Mountaineers. I create there national ad campaign and promotional materials. I also am adult leader/guide on up to two wilderness trips a year with inner city young adults. It's turned into an amazingly great non-paying part-time job.. i love it.
