Life Since Gilroy High- I live in the Sierra Mountains, east of Auburn, on some acreage that definitely keeps me busy. I moved around quite a bit: Los Angeles, New Mexico, Mexico, Venezuela, San Jose, Loomis and now the Sierra, east of Auburn. I earned my engineering degree from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and after graduating, went to work for Hewlett Packard Co. Later, I went back to get my MBA from Cal Poly Pomona while living in So. Ca. I have 4 great kids, all adults now, with 3 grandchildren. I worked for HP after leaving college, then retired...sort of. I worked in the child welfare, non-profit sector for a few years before retiring again.. My work was around advocacy focusing on getting permanent families for youth in foster care across the country. I have also been active doing search and rescue work for the past 23 years.
