Jeff's Story

Life My wife and I have been married nine great years and have two awesome sons, Theodore and Jacob. The boys are growing and I could not ask for anything greater than to be a Christian (Thank you, Jesus), Husband, and Father. I have other hats, but these are the most important. I coach Upwards basketball in the winter and have joined my friend, NFL All-Pro Mike Bartrum, in starting an NFL Flag Football League for kids, K-6. I attend the Zion Church of Christ near Harrisonville and I sing in a group called Forgiven Again Trio (FAT). We have sung at Chester Shade Days, Meigs County Fair, and Relay for Life Events, among others and we continue to receive great blessings serving God in the spreading of His Gospel. Thanks to Roger and Scott for allowing me to be a part. Not much else except to send a hello out to all of my friends. Now, it¿s time for a message. Years ago, I had thought God had given up on me and that is the reason I am forward with my praises. He showed me a life greater than me. A life where being content and loving people is the top priorities. I learned the greatest lessons from those who I hurt and was very remorseful for those things that I had done to hurt and disappoint. I believe that the strongest man is the one who gets on his knees and prays. I also believe that everyone has a special niche in their lives and He will help you find it, if only you look. God gave a gift, Jesus, free to all who will take it. There is nothing that we can do to earn our way into Heaven. Being good is just not enough. John 3:16, 17 says it so great. He didn't come to condemn you, but to save you because without Him w...Expand for more
e are already condemned because of our sin nature that we inherited when we were born. I hope that you will take a moment and reflect on how fast time has gone by. Every day we are closer to eternity. Live your life as though you want God in your life or when you die, He will allow you your wish, an eternity without Him. My friends, I am not crazy. I am not insane. I have found my calling. I sure do like to laugh, share, and talk to friends about the present and reflect on the good times of the past. If I did not share my friend, Jesus, with you, then I would have let you down. Sometimes, we are the only Jesus that people ever sees. My prayer is that all will find their way home and what a glorious Homecoming that will be!!! I hope that you see God work in your life. Sometimes, we have to listen for Him instead of talking and telling Him how we want our lives to be. Allow Him to take us for a drive. Remember, how we live in this moment that we call life, determines our eternity. Be Good, Jeff I Corinthians 10:13 School Go Meigs! I really should not share any stories. I plead the fifth. Cheez College I am currently seeking a BS in Computer Information Systems with specialization in Systems Analysis and Integration from Devry University and I am currently carrying a 4.0 GPA into my sophomore year. I hope to be done in two-two and a half years. Workplace Both, Michelle and I are employed by Wal-Mart, INC. She is at the Athens, OH store as the Personnel Manager and currently has eleven years with the company. I have been with them for six years and am the Department Manager of Paint/Hardware for the Mason, WV store.
