Life After high school, I attended the University of Florida, where I majored in Public Recreation Administration and Business Management. I also obtained my Masters degree in Public Administration. After graduating, I remained in Gainesville for 3 years as a store manager for Wal-Mart. I eventually moved back to the WPB area, where I worked for the City of Greenacres as their athletic director. That is where I met my wife Heather, and we got married soon thereafter. We bought a house in Boynton Beach, and in 99 our daughter Hailey was born. When Wellington incorporated into a municipality, I was hired to build and run their parks and recreation department. Once I had that up and running, I took over Indian Trail Improvement District to build their park system. From there, I became manager of mall operations at the Mall at Wellington Green, where I was responsible for the overall development and construction of the mall.
