Jeff's Story
A husband, father, and still addicted to Indiana sports. I work in Emergency Management for Commander, Navy Installations Command (Echelon II) as a Civil Servant - I am a policy guy.
From 2007-2011 I worked for Battelle as a DOD Contractor - as an Emergency Mangement expert/instructor, I worked on a number of contracts... it took me all over the world.
Prior to this, I spent 24-years in the United States Navy. During my career, I completed tours on nearly every platform that Navy Medicine possesses; includes three overseas tours, 3rd Marine Division, 1st FSSG, and 1st Marine Air Wing, three Naval Hospitals, the USS TRI...Expand for more
POLI (LPH 10), and the USS DWIGHT D. EISENHOWER (CVN 69). While stationed at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences, Bethesda, MD I taught courses in field preventive medicine and took part in research projects studying disease in Peru. I am a veteran of Desert Shield/Storm, Restore Hope (Somalia), and Operations Iraqi and Enduring Freedom.
I received my BS in Healthcare Management from Southern Illinois University and earned a Masters in Public Safety and Emergency Management. My wife Gabriella and I have two children, Sara and Adam, (17 years apart). Gabby and I have been married for over 25 years!
