Jeff's Story
Professional Life
Joined the Air Force after high school and retired (1993) after twenty years to start a new career. While in the AF trained to be a Bomb Disposal Technician. Traveled the world defuzing bombs and trying to remember if I should cut the red wire or the blue wire. Always picked the right one or I guess I would't be writing this story. Since leaving the AF I have continued to work at the civillian equivalent of the bomb disposal profession. Currently I work as a project manager for an engineering company in Charlotte, NC.
Personnel Life

age therapy for horses in Northern MI. My middle daughter graduated from Central Michigan a few years ago and this last October graduated from Lawerence tech with an MBA. She moved back to michigan and is a manager at the Inn at Bay Harbor in Petoskey, Mi. My son received certification in auto body repair from Alpena CC. Decided after 6 months the pay was crap so went to Texas A&M and got certified to work in the bomb disposal industry like his father. He has been very sucessful and has recently accepted a permanent position with one of my company's competitors in Denver, CO. Since leaving the Air Force I have also started a few businesses. We raised EMU's (6ft birds) on the farm in Wolverine for about five years. Also had an equipment leasing business. I also was elected to the school board in Wolverine and served as its president for several years. So far its been a great life.
