Spent 4 years onboard the USS Vincennes (CG-49). Did 2 West-pac's and spent some time in the Persian Gulf during the Iran/Iraq war escorting cargo ships in and out of the gulf. Was involved in combat w/Iran in July '88. After discharge in '89 spent a couple years driving big rig (18 wheeler) all around the U.S. Been to every state in the union except North Dakota. Great times when your single, not so much when your married. Have been married now for 17 years this summer and have a 20 year old step-son and a 12 year old daughter. Things are great. I love my family.".
