Jeff's Story
Life
After graduation, joined U.S. Air Force. Stationed 2 hours from home in Merced Ca. Was able to stay at Castle AFB for 17 years. When the base was closing I opted to venture to North Dakota, Minot AFB. There for about 2 years. Retired from Aircraft Maintenance and joined the civilian world. Worked at a couple of jobs, in between the golf. Couldn't decide what I wanted to do. Went on vacation to Idaho, met some really nice people, and met one who offered me a job without knowing me. So 3 weeks later, I moved to Mtn Home, Idaho. Really just looking for an excuse to leave California. Worked as a service manager at a Chevrolet dealership in town for 3 years before I realized that getting beat up on by irate customers was no fun. Found a no stress job managing parts and service at a local motorcycle shop. Been at the shop for 7 years now. Married in 1977. Divorced in 1987. Remarried in 1990. in Merced with his wife and 2 little sons. My daughter Katrina(28) lives in Edmond OK. I am currently single. After the move north, the now ex wife decided that small town life was not for her. She moved back to California. So it's me and my dog. We get outdoors as much as possible. Hit the mountains to hike and fish. Getting old but still young enough to ride dirt bikes, desert races, motocross. Always had a desire to sing. Used to sing everywhere I went in the car, shower, karaoke, everywhere. I've been playing in a band with a great group of guys for the past 5 years. We hit the local clubs, parties, weddings, etc. Mainly classic rock with a little country mixed in. Lots of fun! Don't get to California much these days, so I do not get to see anyone from school. If I wait around here long enough, more Californians will be moving in(hah).
