Jeff's Story
Life
I live outside of Goldendale, off the grid with my wife Vicky. We've been married 14 years. I had nineteen years sobriety in February. I went to AA for about two years and then got involved in Lakota spirituality (sweat lodge, sundance, etc).
I adopted my wife's kids and never had any biological kids. Some of my life highlights:
Soloed Inside Passage in a kayak in 1984
Owned a sea kayaking business in Bellingham for four years
Co-led first Joint Russian/American k...Expand for more
ayak expedition in Kazaakhstan in 1989
Parents divorced in 1988
Married to my best friend (my wife)
Presently doing sections of the Pacific Crest Trail every summer.
Wrote a book called "Changing The Message" about drug and alcohol prevention activities and ropes courses. See at woodnbarnes.com
I consciously or unconsciously cut off contact with my high school friends around the time I quit drinking but I'm curious about all my classmates now. Maybe it's a 40's thing
