Jeff's Story
I have lived in Alaska, California, Idaho, Montana, Wisconsin, Washington and Michigan But I like Texas the best. I tend to lean to the republicans side of politics but I don't agree with them on every issue. I think I'm part hippy. I'm naturally curious and love to learn new things. I have been searching for answers on human existence most of my life and so far the best answer is 42.
I have been living in or near Austin since 1997 and they have been the best years of my life. It¿s not that everything before 97 was that bad. Some of that time was fantastic. Like the time I spent in Alaska. Well the summer was great but the winter was pure boring. I also had a lot of great weekends going hiking, camping and skiing in the mountains of Idaho and Montana. Over all the years I have meet some really good friends. Because of my moving around I have lost track of some of them and I am hoping some of them will read this and e-mail me. Austin is home now and I don¿t think I will ever move again. Austin is like an island in Texas with rolling green hills, two lakes, and a population of young energetic intelligent people. Austin is the live music capital of the world and on any weekend you will find over 100 bands playing all over town. Austin has the largest college campus in the nation. I think Austin¿s population is something like this-15% musicians, 20% students, 30% high tech professional, 15% hippy and 20% everything else.

th her mom in CA or with me here in TX. So she has been going back and forth now for several years. I had twin girls with my first wife and a year after the divorce she meet a really nice guy who wanted to adopt them so I don¿t see them as much I would like to, about once a year, but they are all very happy together. Then there is Alex and Nicholas. Alex is 6 months and Nicholas is going to be 5 in August of this year. Their mother and I are still very much in love with each other and after almost 7 years of marriage I can¿t say I would change a thing.
So the friends I¿m looking for are Pat S. from Idaho, Mike N. from Michigan, John G. from Michigan, Mike R. from Michigan, Gary H. from Idaho, Tonya M. from Idaho, Tim P. from Michigan, Lisa J. from California and RA from Alaska.
I'm definitely a red pill kind of person.
The red pill is an unknown quantity. We are told that it can help us to find the truth. We don't know what that truth is, or even that the pill will help us to find it. The red pill symbolizes risk, doubt and questioning. In order to answer the question, you can gamble your whole life and world on a reality you have never experienced.
The blue pill will leave us as we are, in a life consisting of habit, of things we believe we know. We are comfortable, we do not need truth to live. The blue pill symbolizes commuting to work every day, or brushing your teeth.
Do you live on in ignorance (and potentially bliss) or do you lead what Aristotle called 'the examined life'.
Truth, is worth pursuing.
