After high school, I tried collage and spent one year at Penn State (McKeesport). But I was way too immature for college and dropped out after one year. I enlisted into the Marine Corps in 1985 and have remained a Marine for the past 26 years. I started out as an enlisted Aviation Radar Technician. I eventually became a Warrant Officer, and then moved onto the limited duty officer ranks. Today, I am a Lieutenant Colonel in the Aviation Command & Control Systems field. was the MSG Detachment Commander at the American Embassies in Helsinki, Finland and Algiers, Algeria. I met my wife, Hanna, in Finland. We married in 1996 and have two boys, Jeremy and Jonathan. While in the Corps, IâÂÂve earned degrees in Electronics Technology and Management/Computer Information Systems. I have been fortunate to have had the opportunity to travel throughout the U.S., Europe, the Far and Middle East, and Southern Africa. My family and I are currently stationed in Okinawa Japan and will return to the Northern Virginia area in 2012.
