Jeff's Story
Life
In the late 70's after having several "tastes" of Hawaii through baseball tournaments and friends, I decided to leave Oregon and I never looked back. I needed to grow on a whole nother level. For the most part, I would live in Hawaii (for most of) the next 14 years, although during that time, I lived in such exotic cities as Hong Kong, Sydney, Tokyo, and Osaka, while travelling extensively in Asia and Europe. Being abroad was the ultimate education, and I managed to have a modelling career (yes....me!)for a lot of the 80's which facilitated much of my travels. It was wonderfully exciting and adventurous and I met so many famous people. I even WAS ONE in a few asian countries! Anyway, I left Hawaii in '93 to start a busi...Expand for more
ness in Orlando, FL, and when the internet caused the business to become somewhat obsolete, I moved up to Atlanta where I began dating my future wife and have been here since '97. I guess I've finally settled down. My wife is almost 11 years younger than me, so she keeps me in line.......well, somewhat. By the way...I'm no longer the shy, insecure wallflower that aimlessly traversed the halls of Madison High oh so many years ago. :o)
School
High School was somewhat of a black hole for me. A vortex if you will. I was there but not there. I felt like it was 4 years of going through the motions. I was far too shy. If I were to do it over again, I would've had a little, no A LOT more self-confidence and less fear of rejection!
