Dear Facebook Friends, Whether you knew Betty Wiechert as Betty, Grandma Betty, Gigi, Mrs. Wiechert or mom, to Betty you were much more than an acquaintance to her. To Betty you were family whom she loved and prayed for.
I'm glad I made it home today before the snow! Now that I'm safely home and not going out the snow is pretty.
Last week a view of San Francisco from my hotel in Oakland. This week a view of the loading dock of a grocery store in Johnson City, NY. Note the snow higher than the cars! Living the dream baby!

Morning jog in Philadelphia. That's Independance Hall in the background. Amazing how much nicer and less crowded Philadelphia is at 6 a.m. But its still necessary to step around people sleeping on the street. So sad. The

Thank you to everybody who shared their prayers and concerns for our little girl Sophie. Her surgery went well and although she is still in ICU she is recovering well. We hope that she will get home Monday. We got to visit
Market Street in front of the Liberty Bell area at 5:45 a.m. Great morning for a run.

Kristie and I are enjoying a Cleveland Indians baseball game tonight with her mom and other family members. Go Tribe!
Happy Birthday Mom! There is not a day that goes by that I don't think of you and remember the love you shared with us all! I miss our talks on the phone and the sound of your laugh. We love you!

Sometimes the rooms while on business have a nice view. But, of course, it's supposed to rain the next three days!
