Jeff's Story
Life
Thanks to my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ for blessing me with such grace! I have a beautiful wife of 40 years, Karen. We have raised 4 Godly children: Collette (35), Marques (33), Juliette (29), and Christa (25). We live in Magnolia, Texas (Tomball school district) on 1 acre in a wonderful La.-style house that we designed and built ourselves. We now have 5 beautiful granddaughters, one daughter-in-law, and two son-in-laws. We get back to Vinton every couple of months to visit my dad, sisters, and other relatives, but mostly to eat good food and enjoy time with my extended family. My mom went to be with the Lord in March of 2020 and I miss her dearly. I work for World Wide Technology based in St. Louis, but I work from home. We have lost more classmates this year. I pray that they are in the hands of our Lord Jesus Christ.

my friends and just being a teenager in a small town, was such a joy. I still miss my buddy Duke, but I know he's doing well up there. Many people brought joy to my life and I thank God for all of them. I actually thought about writing a book one day about growing up in a small town with all of the crazy stories I lived and the wonderful neighborhood that I grew up in. I got a BS from LSU, and a MA from Univ. of Texas. I'm done with school, but I still love to learn!
Workplace
After 8 years at Texas Instruments and living in 4 different cities (Houston, College Station, Austin, and Colorado Springs), I was with Compaq/HP in Houston for 28 years. What a great ride it has been! I have worked in the computer industry since it's infancy and have lived through some historic times with it. The pace of change is just staggering, but fun at the same time. Through it all, God has been so good and faithful!
