Jeff's Story

Life I just celebrated my 22nd anniversary with my high school sweetheart, Linda (Jones). We've now been living in Brooklyn Park for the last 7 years after spending 12 long years in the Navy's submarine force. Our extended family now owns 3 of the 5 houses in our court; two more and we'll have to change the street name <G>. Since leaving the Navy I worked as an electronics/fiber optics technician in a prototype laboratory at Ciena and Linda worked as a Nurse on North Arundel Hospital's Med-Surge floor. Recently I took a job with the Department of Defense (can you hear me now?) and Linda now works in endoscopy at the Pasadena Arundel Digestive Center. We're both still interested in music, mostly within the church ministries we're involved with and also do some home recording. I currently volunteer as the head of the Audio / Video Ministry at Faith Baptist Church in Glen Burnie; Linda also volunteers as a choirmember, soloist, and Children's Choir teacher. We also have a lot of fun being involved in the 7thVoice Music Ministry for the last year or so, which is a 6 member Southern Gospel vocal group touring area chur...Expand for more
ches in the DelMarVa area (7thVoice.net). Linda sings and I run the sound system (and sometimes sing). Our 4 kids, David, Stephen, Joshua and Sarah, are are now 21, 20, 17, and 15. All of them are musical and David, Stephen and Josh have their own bands (Crimson Orchid, Andover, and the Side Affects) and play various clubs, band showcases, and contests around Maryland (and the occasional out of state gig). Job-wise David is a lab tech in an FDA-contracted lab, Stephen is a machine operator at USGypsum, and Josh is going into a carpentry apprenticeship school. Sarah's almost ready to drive (AAAHH!) and spends most of her time on the computer or with anything to do with Japanese Anime: drawing, writing, watching, etc. She's been holding her own with her Cystic Fibrosis but did spend a week in the hospital last spring for an antibiotic workup. Par for the course. Hope everyone is doing well, the 20 year reunion was great, especially the picnic. It's weird how you can pick up with people you haven't seen for 20 years like it was nothing, looking forward to the next one. Take care and may God bless all of you, Jeff
