Jeff's Story
Life
After graduation I attended Texas A&M University and got a BS and MS in Mechanical Engineering. College life was fun, but I was anxious to get out in the work force. In 1993 I took a job for a turbine manufacturer in San Diego. I also met my wife Andria just before moving. My surfing skills didn't improve much, but I had fun trying. We got married there in 1995 and enjoyed the SoCal lifestyle until 1996 when I decided to go back to Texas A&M for my Ph.D. It was tough leaving two jobs that we liked to go back to poverty conditions, but we managed. d enjoyed the 4 seasons. We had snow skiing just 30 minutes away. We had our first son in Jan 2000 and named him Cameron. We enjoyed being parents and seeing life through his eyes. Our second son Elliot was born in September 2002. Elliot had to learn to be tough with an older brother. Now they are 3 and 6 and play well together. In 2004 I took a position at a reseach institute in San Antonio. I also teach part time as an adjunct faculty at UTSA. It was nice to be back in Texas and closer to family. My hobbies include flying, motorcycle riding, and kayaking. I have a 4-seat Cessna that we travel around in. It makes Texas seem a little smaller. I hope to see everyone at the reunion...Jeff
