In the mountains above Cuzco they still use oxen for farming.......no tractors as they would be too expensive.  We stopped and gave these workers our extra box lunches....they very much appreciated our offer.

Llamas have a free range of Machu Picchu as they are the lawnmovers.  The grass was kept very neat and trim at no cost.
