a commissioned officer in the US Army Reserve. Some of my military service was with a Field Artillery unit in the Arizona Army National Guard. Ten years into my Law practice (in 1999), I was Honorably Discharged from the Army Reserve and launched my independent law practice known as The Law Office of Jeffery S. Slater, P.C. in Scottsdale. In 2008, I became known as Stanna Michelle Slater. As Stanna, I continue to practice Law through The Law Office of Jeffery S. Slater, P.C. Also, I serve now as the LGBTQ Liaison for the City of Scottsdale while also serving as a member of the Scottsdale Police Department's Community Engagement Committee.
