Jefferson's Story
Life
I received my Mechanical Engineering degree from The University of Texas at Austin in '97 and now live in Emory. Cyndi and I divorced sometime back (around '91)and now I am married to Kim, a girl I met in FortWorth- she has most of her family in Emory. She has one daugther that we raised together named Stormye (she will graduate in May 2008). Scott is in the Marines and is married to a girl named Lisa he met in the Navy. They will be having a baby boy in Septmeber 07. Natalie passed away about 4 years ago and it has been very tough without her. I am employed with Siemens and travel all over North America, as a Field Engineer, repairing large land based gas turbines and generators for the power indust...Expand for more

Workplace
After graduation I continued operating heavy equipment building roads, parking lots, subdivisions, etc. I went to work for the City of Houston as a Level III Construction Inspector from 1988 to 1992. I went to the University of Texas at Austin in 1993 and graduated in 1997 nwith a degree in Mechanical Engineering. I went to work for an Aerospace company in FortWorth and worked there about 5 years. I then went to work for a gas turbine repair repair shop, TurboCare, in Dallas that was jointly owned by Siemens and Chromalloy. I have now changed divisions and work as a Field Engineer for Siemens repairing Gas Turbines and Generators for the Power Industry. I travel all over North America.
