When you work at a startup, every hallway has index cards on the floor with tasks written on them, bend over pick one up read it and if you can do that task then go do it. Life is pretty much that way too, Read the Cards and do as much as you can possibly do. Do at least one good deed a year, maybe you will like it and do more. It is sometimes very hard to believe in the goodness of people, but for the most part 95% of the people you will meet have good in them! Try not to beat them all up! Never tell your kids how bad you were when you were young; they will always use it against you or try to out do you! Just think, When we were kids, our parents used to tell us how they walked to school three miles in the snow barefoot, We get tell our kids that we did not have Cellphones, PC's or video games and CARS did not talk to us and we had to learn how to use a MAP. I know that my kids had it tougher than I did, They had much harder decisions to make at a much earlier age like which of 200 TV channels to watch, Which IM program to use on the PC, can I send text messages during class without getting caught, How many phone calls can I make on my cell phone before I get yelled at for using to many minutes, I do not have to read any books its all on-line.
