(I thought this was supposed to be a bio, so I'm recounting my schooling after high school...ok?)
I left Yuma in 1958 for college at ASU. Went there and then to Phoenix College for a couple of years while I married and had a daughter, then back to ASU for a year. In 1964, I moved back to Yuma, had another daughter, and graduated after 2 semesters from AWC as a "special student" (too many hours!). From there I went to Orange, California, and Chapman College, graduating from there in 1967, and going on to Cal. State, Fulle...Expand for more
rton, for a Master's degree in Politcal Science (1970). Then I followed my major professor to Pueblo, Colorado, intending to go on to Denver for a doctorate. I accepted a job, however, at Southern Colorado State University, as my major professor's research assistant to help her complete 2 book contracts. I began teaching political science at that time, too. In 1972, I moved on to Albuquerque, NM, to a research and writing position...and I only went to school after that to take a few genealogy courses. (I taught myself to knit!)
