Jeff's Story
Life
Following High School I entered the Navy. I served a little less than four years as an Electrician and was awarded an NROTC scholarship to Vanderbilt University. I studied Civil Engineering and graduated in 1996 with a BE in Civil Engineering. I also met my wife during this time.
I have three beutiful children that live with thier mother in TN. We are currently in getting divrorced. Thier mother, not my children.
We have travelled all over. I served abourd two ships from 1...Expand for more
996 to 2000. The USS KIDD (DDG 993) and USS DONALD COOK (DDG 75), both homeported in Norfolk, VA. I transferred to the Civil Engineer Corps in May of 2000.
I did a stint in Diego Garcia, British Indian Ocean Territory. It is the speck on the map in the middle of the IO. I just finished a tour with Naval Mobile Construction Battalion 133, Hoorah Seabees, in Gulfport, MS. I survived Katrina and a stint in Iraq, now I am taking on Grad school at NC State in Raleigh, NC, go Wolfpack.
