Life After graduating "65" I went to Mesa college for a year and a half, then went into the Air Force for 8 years. Spent 1 year in Korea, 4 years in Germany (loved it) and 2 years in Montana (had lots of fun). After getting out of the AF, I came back to Ca. and went to work with my Dad in his furniture store (J.R.Brandt Interiors). I worked with him for about 3 years, then started doing roofing with my brother. After a couple years of that my Wife, Karen, and I managed a retirement home with 6 elderly folks and I went back to college for another year and a half. I worked as a service writer and mechanic for a while, then got my Class A license to drive big rigs. I ended up driving a bus for North County Transit District in 1985. I still work at NCTD but I am a Transit Supervisor. My wife and I have lived in Escondido since 1973. We go to Calvary Chapel in Escondido and I am part of a Worship team. I play Keyboards and sing! We have 4 grandchildren, and 2 of our own...Expand for more
