Jeffrey's Story
Life
My wife of 17 years, Karen, and I along with our two wonderful children, Jasmine (13) and Kyle (6) live in Peekskill, NY (just outside of NYC). We have been here for 11 1/2 years after spending 3 years in Texas and before that 7 years in Southern CA.
I am the Senior Pastor of the Living Hope Family Fellowship (Clarkstown/Middletown, NY) and recently added the Westchester Family Fellowship (White Plains, NY) to my responsibilities. I love what I do and am passionate about helping others reach for all that God has in store for their lives.
Earlier this year, I finished my MS in Counseling and currently spend far too many hours pondering whether to finish the Doctorate.
Back in 99, I began doing pre-release and after-care Counseling with young men in the Westchester County Department of Corrections. That is still hot on my plate.
My ultimate goal is to write. Funny, but right now (at 39), I feel like it is time USE all that I have been storing up for "someday".
I have been blessed to do some incredible things (donating bone marrow, meeting Kings and Queens, Prime ministers and First Ladies...) and have se...Expand for more
en some incredible places (Nigeria, Italy, England, New Zealand...)
I've also been knocked to my knees once or twice but Thank God for giving me faith, family and friends.
I still love to laugh and get home about once a year and would love to catch up.

College
I graduated from Ambassador University in CA with my BA in 1987. I majored in Theology. My college career was one of the best times of my life. So many doors of opportunity opened for me then. ?For some college is not a transformation point, for me it truly was. I traveled the world on projects, broke college track records, recorded music cd's/videos, gave speeches in front of hundreds of people, performed for the Queen of Thailand and other heads of state, Served the First Lady of the United States, taught high school, met my wife and the list goes on and on.
I wouldn't trade it for the world.
I delayed my Masters Program but began it in 2001. I finished my Masters in Community Counseling at Western Connecticut State University (May 2004) and passed the National Counseling Exam (NCE)in October (2004).
