Life
'65-'68 Reed College, '68-'72 U. of W. Medical School, with M.D. degree in 1972, followed by internship in Philadelphia. '73-'76 Specialty Training in OB/GYN, '76-'80 Specialty Training in Diagnostic Radiology in Vancouver, B.C., with Fellowship in CAT Scanning. After completing training I moved to the East Coast, where I served for six years as Director of CAT Scanning at a large community hospital on Long Island, NY, about 20 miles from New York City. In 1987 I left the hospital, and the following year I opened a private Imaging Center in the same community on Long Island, Rockville Centre, specializing in MRI Scanning, CAT Scannin...Expand for more
g, ultrasound, and invasive radiologic procedures. The practice grew steadily over the years, and now includes three Imaging Centers on Long Island and in Queens, NY.
Married, with three children: Aaron, a Ph.D. candidate in English Literature; Cheryl, a college sophomore with interests in music and journalism; and Stephanie, a high school freshman with a flair for art. Wife Judi is a musician who graduated from Olympia High School, where she was Washington State piano champion. We love skiing, travel, and sailing on Long Island Sound. Each summer we journey back to the Pacific Northwest to ride horses and visit friends and family.
