More about Jeffrey:"I graduated from E.T.H.S. in 1968,went to U of Ill. in Champaign-Urbana from 1968-1971 and U of Ill-Circle Campus from 1973-1974. I have had a few various careers in my adult working years. From the time I was 25 years old until I was 37, I worked in advertising-for the same company-a salesman for about a little over a year, an assistant sales mgr. for about a year, then I was the sales mgr. for our Houston ofc for about 2 yrs. For reasons beyond my control,we then had to close our Houston ofc. and I was brougt back to the main ofc. to initially be atraining mgr. Iwas leased to me during these times a new Camaro that I was to use as my own personal car.During my years there I sold, trained, hired and fired wrote ad copy for our various clients, dealt with our clients needs depending on their budget and demographics. We also did T.V. production, radio voice-over as we were a full service ad co. My other passion and career move (they over-lapped at times) was studing hard to pass the C.F.T.C. gover...Expand for more
nment exam to be an associte-person(in essence a commodity broker-I could trade for my own account as well as other client's accounts as well as solicit monies from client's and other accounts to clear thru the brokerage house I worked for. I got my 2 yr. licence(it has to be renewed every 2 yrs. and you have to actively working for a brokerage house to be able to renew) in 1979. Even tho I currently don't have a licence now(I don't work for a clearing brokerage house now),I still try to keep an open account for myself at a house so that I can still make quick trades(the market can move quite quickly at times and it's very handy to be able to get in and out as fast as possible).Right now I am working part time at a nearby retaurant(Gulliver's) delivering for them. Right now I have never married but I have had many relationships over the yrs. But I now regret that I never had any children because I think I would have been avery good parent and would have loved to left a legacy as my small contribution to society. As far as my social life, It's hard to believe the time that has passed so quickly and my generation of anti-war protesters and 'bell-bottoms' wearers is now becoming AARP members instead of the S.D.S. draft card burners.".
