Jeffrey's Story

Life I Started College in Florida as a computer science major and after one year took a semester off to evaluate exactly what I wanted to do. I spent a lot of time traveling and sole searching. I transferred back to NY and changed my major to International Business. During those years I did a few internships with companies in Hamburg and Stuttgart Germany. I graduated in 1992 and worked for an International Freight Forwarder in New Jersey for one year before I was transferred to Los Angeles. Don’t let anybody ever tell you California isn’t a great place. Of all the places I’ve ever lived (4 states and 5 countries) I had more fun in LA than anywhere else. he language and cultural differences would have been too much for her. Besides, I missed her too much. I moved back to the US and we were married right on the water in Marina del Rey, California in July of 99. After initially contemplating moving back to California we now live up in the hills of Northern New Jersey—right off of Skyline Lake. It's pretty secluded. I don’t think I’ve changed much. I’m still rather private and have the same hobbies: I travel a lot and enjoy visiting other countries and cultures. I follow motor sports with a passion—particularly Formula 1. My parents left L.I. in 89 and my sisters moved to Canada when I was still in HS so I don’t have much connection to Long Island anymore. I don’t miss it. My only regret is I’m too far north to pick up WLIR (92.7). I still keep in touch with some of my old friends from Sewanhaka: Peter Cortes, Steve Viti, Robert Long, Manish Singh.
