Jeffrey's Story
Life
I have been all over the world. Went to Hollywood to make my claim, did well. Became a talent/literary agent for various movies stars and producers for more than 9 years. I took ill in 1995 with a rare blood disorder and was hospitalized for four months. I had my spleen removed as the doctors believed this was a cure for my problem; it wasn't. I was in remisson for 3 years. It came back in 2001 and I was hospitalized again for 3 months I had 13 treatments of chemo-therapy. I am better now and want to stay this way. My disorder is call Ideopathic Thrombocytopenia Purpea "ITP" for short. I get it acutely when others with this disease have it chronically.I am just about at deaths door, when I pull myself through. My doctors are amazed that I am still alive. They do not know what causes ITP and no known cures. It imitates Lymphoma, the course of treatment is the same as cancer. In layman's terms, I am allergic to my own blood.

recover while going through a divorce and to regroup. I have no children and am now living near San Diego. I have two businesses, one a travel agency, the other a Vitamin Store. I just ended a four year relationship with a women with two kids. I have been singing and finished a CD before I became ill again. If anyone who would like it; I would be more than happy to send it to you. I am still active in charity work. I was planning to move to England. But everything has changed since my illness and the disaster on September 11. I plan on going back into show business one day as I truly miss it. I just need to make sure I am in the clear(healthwise); I plan to produce plays.
I sold my homes in Palm Springs and Las Vegas.
It would love to hear from anyone. I just to say hello. My life has been a challenge these past seven years.I am coping the best way I can. My attitude is up, considering my doctors gave me up for dead more than once. So I guess I am lucky or blessed; perhaps both.
