Life As many young boys do, Jeff tended to have a nose for mischief. But unlike most, his ended up helping him discover his ear for music. One day when he was seven, Jeff was sent to his sister's room for a "time out" and he stumbled across an abandoned mono record player. Next to the player, sat a box set of records that would change his life forever. As Jeff was supposed to be repenting for his earlier misdeed, he instead got into singing along with the infectious melody, rhythm and soul of the Jackson 5. From that day forward, the only punishment that really worked on Jeff was taking away his ability to play music. That fateful day got Jeff his start in music. He started playing the drums and added the guitar and bass in the following years. But he discovered quickly that his best instrument would always be his voice.
