Military
Joking, I say that I was one of the very last men drafted before the "Draft" was done-away-with on 30 Sep 1972. I got my notice on 23 Sep! So, I beat-feet to the Navy Recruiter the next day so that I would not have to serve in the Army (where I was drafted into).
In a nutshell, I served 24 years in the Navy and retired Dec 1997 as a Senior Chief Yeoman. My tours were primarily CONUS, with one ship tour and one brief tour in Puerto Rico.

n in New Orleans, where I retired from. And 10 years later, I'm still with Lockheed and hope to continue for another 10 years! LOL.
Even though my hair on my head seems to be disappearing thesedays, I take comfort in knowing that at least I still have some!
Life has been pretty good to me and having survived Hurr Katrina, I'm grateful for every new day!
When I hit the PowerBall, I'll retire and do absolutely ANYTHING I want. In the meantime, I pray for good health each day and for good things to all.
